I try to allow unbridled instinct to guide my hand, and to draw from the abstract consciousness or autonomous free association. Drawing gives me the musing feeling of being before a blank sea -- able to swim in any direction, even up. I am grateful to have the ability to use my penspan as a lever for expressing ideals. My inspirations are speculative theory surrounding issues of cosmic wonder, rationality, existential philosophy, freejazz stride piano, and psychedelic modes.
